STORYTELLER

PROBLEM SOLVER

and

I do a bunch of stuff... color, sound, story, production, post, whatever. I know all the different software. I know that Comic Sans should be used ironically. Blah blah blah... Who cares? Mostly what I do is tell stories, and solve problems. I really enjoy it, and I'm pretty quick, too.

I'm also a really nice guy.

If all the other stuff is important to you, then please read on...

I am a Los Angeles native and a second-generation film editor. Literally growing up in an edit bay, I understood from an early age that filmmaking was in my blood. My first job editing was on the Bravo reality series, FORTY DEUCE, directed by Golden Globe nominee Zalman King. I worked with Zalman for over nine years, cutting every one of his subsequent projects including both seasons of his Showtime series BODY LANGUAGE, and the feature film PLEASURE OR PAIN. Next, I worked with Emmy Award winner Shane Stanley, cutting his feature film MY TRIP BACK TO THE DARK SIDE. After that, I had the honor of working with Oscar winning filmmaker Haskell Wexler on the documentary feature FOUR DAYS IN CHICAGO, and the documentary short for Criterion, MEDIUM COOL REVISITED, among other projects. I am currently employed at CBS Interactive Entertainment as a Senior Video Editor. My recent work involves mostly short-form content, ranging from sponsored sales campaigns to social-first series launch campaigns. In my two and a half years with CBS, my work has earned five Telly Awards. In all, my credits include work that has aired on Showtime, VH1, The Speed Channel, E! Entertainment, Bravo, Bloomberg, CBS.com, Time.com, Cinemax, and Spike. My films have screened around the world at festivals such as SXSW, Chicago International, Cannes, Woodstock, and Camerimage.       IMDb link
